LARGE BOW HATCH
A large bow hatch enables easy access to the internal forward stowage compartment. Abovedeck, Bungee cords secure extra gear.
COCKPIT STORAGE
An 8″ twist and seal hatch, cup holder and dual mesh stowage pockets in the cockpit provide easy access and safe stowage for the things you reach for most. An extra 8″ twist and seal hatch on the rear deck means you’re never short of stowage options.
VANTAGE CT SEAT
Hobie’s Vantage seating system provides the comfort needed for long stretches out on the water. The seat-back, bottom, height, and lumbar support are all easily adjustable. Enjoy breathability, infinite flexibility and better visibility along with state-of-the-art design and 4-way adjustability for more comfort in the cockpit or on the beach.
RETRACTABLE OUTRIGGERS
Hobie’s AKA arm system allows the two AMA floats or outriggers to be folded into the hull for easy transport on a trailer, or simple removal for car-topping and storage. Add Trampolines for extra comfort and crew capacity.
COMPLETE SAILING KIT
Everything you need for high-performance sailing comes standard with the Adventure Island including; Two-piece carbon composite mast, kick-up daggerboard for upwind performance, patented vertically battened roller furling sail, and all lines and hardware for sail control from the seats. An optional Spinnaker Kit can be added to supercharge downwind performance.
MIRAGEDRIVE 180 WITH KICK-UP TURBO FINS
The forward and reversing MirageDrive 180 pedal propulsion systems deliver reliable performance, confidence-inspiring power and all-day efficiency. With Kick-Up Turbo Fins you can explore shallow waters without a care. These fins automatically kick up on impact and adjust back when you resume pedalling.
LOWRANCE® FISHFINDER READY
The Hobie Adventure Island comes standard with a built-in transducer mount and includes through-hull cable plugs making fish-finder installation plug-and-play.
REAR CARGO AREA
Big adventures demand plenty of gear. These moulded areas and Bungee tie-downs ensure that it’s still there when you get to camp. 2 x moulded-in rod holders securely tote your rods, are perfectly angled for trolling and can accommodate a gaff, nets and other gear.
KICK-UP RUDDER WITH COCKPIT CONTROLS
Hobie’s kick-up rudder is there when you need it, gone when you don’t. The retractable-rudder system can be steered, engaged and disengaged with ease by the controls in the cockpit.
