Currently, the 2019+ Outback is the only Hobie model to feature an H-Rail with a built-in gear track. With growing demand from anglers wanting the same functionality on other kayaks, this kit has been carefully assembled by adapting genuine Hobie components to create a practical, ready-to-install option.
Each kit is built by modifying H-Rail H-Track DLX Upgrade Kits—removing the dodecagon rails and fitting H-Rail end caps—to deliver a clean, straight rail that’s ready for serious rigging. Unlike many aftermarket options, this rail sits perfectly straight, giving you a neater install and more reliable accessory mounting.
The H-Rail section is compatible with all Hobie H-Rail accessories, while the integrated gear track works with most standard track-mounted T-bolts, including popular systems from RAM, Railblaza, and Scotty. This gives you complete flexibility to customise your setup with rod holders, electronics, cameras, and more.
Built for anglers who want to expand their kayak’s capability, this setup offers a simple way to unlock more mounting options and create a cleaner, more organised cockpit.
