The Hobie MirageDrive V2 Chain Assembly is the main chain that drives the sprockets delivering power from your pedal cranks to the drive and to the fins. This chain is specifically designed for version 2 MirageDrives which began roll-out in October 2008. Unfortunately, chains for V1 (pre-2008) MirageDrives are no longer available. Customers with V1 drives will need to upgrade their drive – Speak to our team to find out how.

  • Make sure to wash the drive chain regularly with fresh water to prevent wear and extend the life span.
  • We recommend replacing the MirageDrive Nyloc Nuts when replacing the drive chain as they are typically also worn
