YakAttack undertook over a year of R&D to design a kayak crate that offers unparalleled functionality. The BlackPak Pro, with its impressive weight reduction and hinged lid, captures both anticipated enhancements and unique features that kayak anglers are looking for.
Specifications:
- Size: The 16X16 is the largest in the BlackPak Pro lineup with dimensions of 40.6 cm x 40.6cm x 33 cm. Despite its size, the crate is lightweight weighing just 4.1 kg without the TetherTube rod holders and 5.2 kg with the six included TetherTubes attached. Also available in smaller sizes, including 13” x 13” and 13” x 16”.
- Storage: Tailored to accommodate a diverse range of tackle boxes, including Plano 3700, Plano Edge, Bass Mafia Bait Coffin, Flambeau, and beyond.
- Construction: Boasting injection-moulded UV-stabilized polymers, the BlackPak Pro ensures durability in even the harshest marine conditions. Its ultra-stiff panels, crafted with a unique rib structure, guarantee rigidity and feather-light weight. Assembly is a breeze with the interlocking GridLoc panels and included stainless steel screws.
- Lid: The adaptive water-shedding lid comes with adjustable hinges, allowing versatility in movement. The CatchLatch retention system promises innovative and functional lid security, while sound-dampening rubber bumpers ensure noise-free operation.
- Rod Holders: The BlackPak Pro comes with six TetherTube vertical rod holders, designed with an integrated hook and tether system to keep your gear secure. Multiple mounting options adapt to your requirements, with additional TetherTubes available for customised setups.
- Secure Tie-Downs: Rubberized feet and Omni corner brackets ensure the crate stays in place, with inclusive YakAttack OmniHooks, ensuring multiple hold-down methods for your convenience.
- Rigability: The GridLoc 2D mounting system enables unmatched customisation opportunities for mounting accessories or improved gear organisation both internally and externally.
