Description
Traditional electric motors use resistors to reduce the throttle which is inefficient (especially at lower speed settings) and uses up unnecessary power. The Pulse Width Modulator (PWM) works by pulsing the exact amount of power required by the motor which results in minimised wasted energy. The FPV kayak motor comes with a built-in voltmeter so you can keep an eye on how much battery you have left aswell as a magnetic safety cutoff, which stops your kayak from motoring away in case of a man overboard situation.
This motor is designed specifically to be used with the FPV-Power Hobie Motor Mount (sold separately) which fits into the MirageDrive well. The power cord is fitted with waterproof connectors that make it fully compatible with the FPV 50ah Lithium Battery (also supplied separately).
